This page is the character guide for The New Dark709's Comics: The Game. Throughout the game, you play with different characters. Everytime you beat a level, some new characters will be unlocked and can be used in the levels you have beaten earlier, using the Free Play mode. In a level that you have not yet beaten, you may only use a couple of characters. Below is more about the characters.

Dark709[]

Dark709 is one of the first playable characters. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Bob[]

Bob is one of the first playable characters. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. Everytime you draw or put away the sword or attack with "B", while playing as him, he says "Cookies". He walks and jumps normally.

Newsy[]

Newsy is one of the first playable characters. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Zacku[]

Zacku is one of the first playable characters. She is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. She walks and jumps normally.

Tiki[]

Tiki is one of the first playable characters. She is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. She walks and jumps normally.

Torri Torri[]

Torri Torri is one of the first playable characters. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Shadow[]

Shadow can be unlocked after beating level 6. He can shoot blasts of shadow and hit with giant hands. He walks and jumps normally.

Onepu Nuva[]

Onepu Nuva is one of the first playable characters. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Hunter #1[]

Hunter #1 is unlocked after beating the first level. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Hunter #2[]

Hunter #2 is unlocked after beating the first level. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Hunter #3[]

Hunter #3 is unlocked after beating the fifth level. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Hunter #4[]

Hunter #4 is unlocked after beating the fifth level. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Akano[]

Akano can be used for the first time in level two. He is unlocked after beating level two. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. Except he carries an electrostaff. He walks and jumps normally.

Wise One[]

Wise One is unlocked after the second level. He is a swordsman, being able only to use a sword or hit. He, however, carries an axe. He walks and jumps normally.

Kofu (before transformation)[]

Kofu can first be used in the second level. He is a reloader, being able only to throw chocolate bars. A new bar has to be reloaded when the previous is thrown. He walks and jumps normally.

Kofu (after transformation)[]

Kofu can first be used in the third level. He is able to kick and spin at his enemies. He doesn't have a power or a weapon. He walks and jumps normally.

Kofu's spinning attack can be used to move slower than walking, defeating enemies along the way.

Turahk[]

Turahk is unlocked after beating the second level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to use a staff or shoot energy balls. He walks and jumps normally.

Lerahk[]

Lerahk is unlocked after beating the seventh level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to use a staff or shoot energy balls. He walks and jumps normally. He says "sprite when withdrawing or putting away his sword and also when attacing with "B".

Fred[]

Fred can first be used in the second level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to use a sword or shoot green energy balls. He walks and jumps normally.

Boboobian Warrior[]

Boboobian Warrior is unlocked after the third level. He is a reloader, being able to shoot arrows with a bow. A new arrow has to be reloaded after the previous has been shotten. He walks and jumps normally.

Snag[]

Snag is unlocked after beating the fourth level. He is a swordsman, being able to only use a sword or hit. He walks and jumps normally.

Mr. Zimmwad[]

Mr.Zimmwad is unlocked after beating the third level. He is a shooter, being able to shoot green blasts rapidly at the enemy. He walks and jumps normally.

Advanced Mr. Zimmwad[]

Advanced Mr.Zimmwad is unlocked after beating the third level. He is a shooter, being able to shoot green blasts rapidly at the enemy. He walks and jumps normally.

Zimmwad Captain[]

Zimmwad Captain is unlocked after beating the sixth level. He is a shooter, being able to shoot green blasts rapidly at the enemy. He walks faster and jumps 1/3rd higher than normal.

The Guardian[]

The Guardian can first be used in the fourth level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to shoot energy balls, or use a sword. He walks and jumps normally.

Varaka[]

Varaka can first be used in the fourth level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to shoot energy balls, or use a sword. He walks and jumps normally.

Platuka[]

Platuka can first be used in the fourth level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to shoot energy balls, or use a sword. He walks and jumps normally.

Toluk[]

Toluk can first be used in the fourth level. He is a swordsman and a shooter, being able to shoot energy balls, or use a sword. He walks and jumps normally.

Keratu[]

Keratu can first be used in the fifth level. He is a swordsman, being able to use a sword. He uses his own custom sword. He walks and jumps normally.

Huras[]

Huras can first be used in the fifth level. He isn't very useful as all he can do it hit, walk, and jump normally.

Koto[]

Koto can first be used in the fifth level. He is a shooter, as he can shoot energy blasts. He walks and jumps normally.

Toa Tahu[]

Toa Tahu can be first used in the sixth level. He is immune to fire and can both use his fireswords or fire fire... yeah. He walks and jumps normally but is taller than average Matoran.

Toa Gali[]

Toa Gali can be first used in level six. She can jump out of water if the player is falling in and presses the jump arrow at a right time. She can use both her Aqua Axes and shoot water blasts. She walks and jumps 1/3 higher than normal.

Toa Lewa[]

Toa Lewa can be first used in level six. He can use both his Air Katanas or fire air blasts. He also walks and jumps 1/3 more than normal.

Toa Onua[]

Toa Onua can be first used in level six. He can both use his drills or shoot blasts of earth. He walks and jumps normally.

Toa Takanuva[]

Toa Takanuva can be first used in level six. He can both use his Staff of light or shoot blasts of Light. He walks and jumps normally.
